GAIA and Federation Of Welsh Anglers coaches will be on hand to give casters of all abilities from complete beginners to those wishing to perfect their action an opportunity to develop and hone their fly fishing skills.  With stalls selling all the latest tying materials and fly fishing tackle and clothes, this is the ideal place to get bargains too.

Fly Casting Demonstrations

Whilst  ‘Fly Casting’ will be ongoing throughout both days at the casting pool under the guidance of qualified ‘Game Angling Instructors’, members of the ‘Federation of Welsh Anglers’, assisted by members of the local Bala Angling Club, the show visitors will be invited to ‘ Have a Go’, in short ten to fifteen minute sessions.

I addition to this, there will be three 20  minute demonstrations in the main ring. The demonstrations will detail how both the single handed rod and the double handed rod are put to use in an efficient manner, showing the general faults and how to effortlessly achieve smoothness and distance. Gwilym Hughes a Trade Member of the ‘Federation of Welsh Anglers’, a local Professional Game Angling Instructor and Guide will deliver these demonstrations on both days.
